I am currently writing a novel set In a distant future. The solar system has been colonized under the iron grip of a powerful Federation, a young woman is torn from her life of small-time hijinks and unorganized rebellion and conscripted into military service. Determined to reclaim her freedom, she plots her escape - but her plan unravels when she encounters an enigmatic robot, one that by all accounts should not exist.

Bound by circumstance and pursued by the Federation, the unlikely pair navigates a perilous journey- from Ice Haulers to Federation Gunships - united by a simple, desperate goal: to go home. As she uncovers more and more of mystery surrounding the robot and it’s past, she’s thrust into a conspiracy that threatens not only her life but the future of humanity itself. To expose the truth and hold the Federation accountable, she may have to sacrifice everything she holds dear, and confront the devastating possibility that the home that she knew may be lost to her forever.
